Description

1st June 2024. A young activist is arrested after sitting in a road in central London during 'Youth Demand' protests over the war in Gaza. I framed the activist low in the image, emphasising the size and dominance of the police officer standing over her. Seeing me, she fixed her gaze on the lens and makes eye contact with the viewer.
