Description

It was a hugely windy day on the Isle of May which meant a few of the puffins spent some time preening themselves. This little chap was trying to keep his feathers tidy between fishing trips. I had to shoot at 1/3200sec and on a tripod to keep the camera shake down and capture the detail in the bird's plumage. iso2500. 840mm. f8. 1/3200sec.
