Description

Snorkeling around Apo Island in the Philippines around dusk time, I came across this extremely venomous banded sea krait. I followed it around for a little while as it hunted small fish in the shallow reef bellow. As it came up for a breath, I snapped a few photos whilst it was at the surface. Despite their venomous bite, this snake was incredibly docile and at ease with having me swim along side it.
