Description

One of my favourite portraits to this day. The animation, expressions, and emotions of the subject still leave me wondering what was being or about to be said... I honestly can't remember. Shooting outdoors in natural light has always been my preferred method, conditions can be challenging but here I think they have created a fitting mood for the image. I shot with a 50mm prime lens and aperture open at 1.4 and the depth and detail captured adds to the intensity of the image. Not a great deal of editing and re touching was needed, a slight de saturation and minor tweaks of lighting felt sufficient enough. The story being told by this portrait I feel is truly left to the viewer to decide and that what make this a special piece.
