“There is no love sincerer than the love of food.” - George Bernard Shaw. This quote perfectly captures the essence of my food photography. This photograph depicts the intricate beauty of the inside of a walnut, set against a dramatic black background. The biggest challenge was peeling off the outer hard layer carefully, trying to keep the inside intact. It took a lot of tries as this proved more challenging than I thought (lots of walnuts were hurt during this process). Additionally, as someone who is severely allergic to nuts, gloves and face masks were vitally essential during the process. This image represents not only my love for food and photography, but also the dedication and perseverance it takes to reveal something truly beautiful.
