In the cellar at Isle of Mull Cheese
Canon 5D Mk2 with 24-105mm F4L Zoom lens. Lighting was from a single Canon flash gun with a small soft box attached
The Reade family have been making traditional farmhouse cheese at their farm, Sgriob-Ruadh, on the Isle of Mull for 40 years. The image was taken in their cellar where hundreds of cheeses quietly mature. Each cheese is turned by hand ,which is all part of the maturing process. The smell was amazing! The image has the feel of an "old master "painting which echoes the non tech methods used at the farm.
