Description

The male (Phidippus putnami) jumping spider is on every macro photographers bucket list. I was lucky enough to find a breeder of this spectacular species. Purchased as a juvenile, I had to wait until he was fully mature to reveal his true colours. I then managed to get 3 images focus stacked handheld to show off his detail. Their pattern, reminds me of a painted native American Indian.
