Description

A group of photographers attended a Moto Cross practise session to experience the thrill of trying to take images as the riders went round the track. As i typically shoot aviation and wildlife it was a similar technique in that its a fast moving subject so an amount of tracking needed to be used. This image was taken at a jump but i have lost count of the amount of times that people have questioned if its a composite.. its not, but i just cropped out the jump and there just happened to be some lovely dramatic clouds that were brought out even more in post processing. As the riders were going fast this would mainly be about a higher shutter speed so i settled on 1/1000th, i also wanted to get as much detail as i could so i opted for f14 which put my ISO at 400.
