In the autumn, sawfly (Symphyta) caterpillars often appear on one of my willow trees and systematically devour virtually all its leaves. They are gregarious and I just felt that these were having fun and dancing, although this posture is actually one of defence. Finding a suitable composition was challenging both for the leaf outline and the positions of the caterpillars.
