Description
Between Earth and stars, I find myself. Standing on the rim of La Palma's vast caldera, surrounded by silence, the night sky alive with the rising Milky Way above me and the world hidden beneath a sea of clouds. In this moment I feel both impossibly small and deeply connected, reminding me that even our brief lives are threads woven into the fabric of something infinite and beautiful, that surrounds us all. This image comprises a 7 panel panorama of 20 stacked 20 second images, blended with a 7 panel foreground of 90 second images. I stood (carefully) upon the rocks admiring this spectacular view.
