Description
This fine art self-portrait was inspired by a short poem I wrote after experiencing a minor sexual assault: How are you taint me Turn me into a statue Besmirched by your touch The image reflects the internal aftermath of violation and the sensation of being tainted and objectified. It symbolises the breach of personal boundaries and the lingering feeling of impurity, of being touched without consent. Through this work, I confront that experience, reclaiming the narrative by turning it into something visually beautiful.
