Description
The picturesque medieval village of Gangi, one of Sicily's most beautiful, provides a stunning foreground to the sprawling meadows and wheat fields. To best photograph the interplay of the village and the fields, I found that a bird's-eye view was most effective, capturing the way the earthy tones of the landscape during sunset blend perfectly with the picturesque houses of the village.
