Description
Whilst watching the chaos of a busy King penguin colony, many of the adults were tending to their chicks. The smallest of which were covered by their parents for protection, from predators and the elements. But every now and again, the parent would stretch up, revealing the chick, almost alien like in appearance, which looks nothing like the King it will become. Here I wanted to capture the rarely seen detail of a chick, whilst under the protection of its parent.
