Description
A handful of Tufted Ducks had made my local pond their home for the summer. In the early afternoon they would often take a bath, throwing up huge amounts of spray. By selecting a low angle and shooting into the sun with a slow shutter speed I was able to blur the illuminated water droplets. It looked a little like the birds were bathing in a bottle of sparkling champagne. iso100, 600mm, f13, 1/30sec.
