A moment of calm on a lonely summit in the Scottish highlands. This self-portrait was taken with the Canon R5 on a tripod and interval timer. I wanted to capture the emotion of conquering a mountain, where the silence is like nothing else—pure, untouched, and full of peace, and every breath of fresh air feels crisp and revitalising. I wanted the image to inspire you to go out and find this feeling for yourself - a feeling that can only be found when walking on the thin air of the mountaintops.
