Self Portrait
Brighton, England
Polaroid Sun 600 LMS
Recently my Mum gifted me the Polaroid camera that she and my Dad purchased together in the early 80s. It hadn't been touched in over 20 years. It felt nice to be able to pick up and continue shooting with the same camera that brought them joy all those years ago. A very rare self portrait, shot on Polaroid 600 film, deconstructed and reconstructed to explore texture and abstraction. Techniques used include in-camera multiple exposure, painting with developer paste and stacking layers from rejected Polaroids.
