Description

I snapped this image on my first ever Photography Portfolio day, arranged by Sophia Hutchinson. I had such a brilliant time learning with all my fellow photographers, and had the most brilliant models to practice on. The photographs I captured are some of the best urban images I have ever created, but this one of Bulka the Corgi is undoubtedly my favourite. Taken on my trusty 85mm at f1.8, Bulka remains the focus of the photo whilst the backdrop sits seamlessly in line with the polished steps, which, much to my delight, created the most magnificent reflections. We were incredibly lucky to have caught the Palace on a quiet day, so I’ve only done minimal clean ups, changed the white balance, and created more of a ‘pop’ to Bulka.
