Description

Travelling around the ring road of Iceland we stopped at Fjaðrárgljúfur Canyon first thing in the morning to explore this awe inspiring valley carved into the Southern coast. We were the only people here and the conditions were pretty foggy to start with, but patience paid off as the sun burned through the cloud to cast a beautiful colour across the vivd green rocks surrounding the icy blue glacier water below. I had always planned to get a drone shot here but upon arrival I wanted to give the sense of being completely immersed within the canyon which I felt worked much better shooting handheld with my camera! Shot handheld on my Sony A7iii, 24mm, 1/320 Sec, f/16, ISO 400.
