Hornstrandir, Iceland
Canon R5 and Canon RF 100-500mm F4.5-7.1 L IS USM lens
This was an extremely challenging shot: only were my fingers freezing, the wind buffeting my lens and the spindrift in front of the Arctic Fox made it very difficult to achieve a focus. I love this shot. Can I say that? To me it is both magical and also captures the wonder of the ability of the Arctic Fox to withstand brutally cold conditions. I have this photo on my wall to remind me of my most wonderful trip this year to Hornstrandir, the furthest tip of Iceland's remote Westfjords and the realisation of my dream to witness the beauty of the area's blue morph Arctic Foxes. Taken at 451mm at 1/1250 sec, f/6.3, auto ISO and +0.7 exposure compensation
