Safe House in Lewisham
Nikon D810 / 24-70 mm / Lastolite Reflector
Atrophy was a project I shot to reflect the housing crisis. With so many derelict buildings left to rot, the housing crisis led me to photograph in either derelict locations or locations I had hired. Using natural light and reflectors, the models represent the souls of the house. They were painted in white facepaint before being covered in fuller earth clay to reflect the decaying surroundings. This image was from a series called Atrophy and is 1 of 25.
