Drone
Passo di Giau
DJI Mini Pro 3
On the final day of my trip to the Italian Dolomites, I was heading back to the airport but decided to take a detour to visit this special road. The Passo di Giau's combination of winding roads, dramatic mountain backdrops, and thick green forest made this a gorgeous location to get the drone up in the air. Once I arrived at the location it was raining but I didn't want that to stop me as it was my only chance, so I used some tape to cover any gaps water might be able to get into the drone and sent it up and was greeted by this stunning view. I didn't keep the drone in the air long as I wanted to prevent any damage so had to be quick in finding the angle and getting the shot. I now have this photo printed and hung on the wall at home. The settings were: Focal length 6.72mm Aperture f/1.7 Exposure 1/50
