Description

Drone shot of a fin whale undergoing an autopsy after it stranded and then died on a beach at Newquay, Cornwall. Biologists, and specialist veterinarians have opened up the body and are extracting samples to determine cause of death and for study into the rare whale species. As a Medic for British Divers Marine Life Rescue, the photographer knew the whale biologists and was invited to record the autopsy taking place.
