Since the start of the current Israel Gaza war on the 7th October last year there has been numerous pro Palestinian protest within Glasgow. While on a photography workshop this year, I walked past the main Barclays Bank in the city centre and spotted the aftermath of a pro Palestine protest. According to protestor's Barclays Bank was providing financial services to defence companies that operate within Israel and thus aiding in Israel attacking Palestine. These were coordinated protests that day, with many Barclays branches in major cities being targeted that day. This branch of Barclays got off lightly only being daubed in red paint and graffiti as other branches targeted that day had their windows smashed. Due to the protest the bank had gone into complete lock down, not letting anyone in. Which I think is the reason these two gentlemen are struggling to get inside and the bank worker is having to discuss this matter with them from behind a locked door.
