Description

Last year I was approached to run a series of bespoke Light Painting Workshops to celebrate the European launch of the new Lexus UX 300e which was taking place in Edinburgh, Scotland. During the course of a week, I ran multiple bespoke Workshop events for VIPs attending the launch event from all across Europe (it was a huge amount of fun!). It is not often that you find yourself alone in a film studio with such a large prop to experiment with, and so prior to the Workshop events taking place I found some time to create a handful of feature images to advertise the Workshop events with (this is one of those shots.). I created this image in a blackout film studio using blue electro-luminescent wire which I moved around rigorously during the long exposure. As usual for my light painting shoots, I was dressed from head to toe in black clothing in order to help minimise the chances of me being visible in the resulting image. Camera settings: ISO 200 - f/5.6 - 105secs - 24mm
