Description

Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is a masterpiece of modern Islamic architecture and design. The overwhelming impression of the breath-taking interior is contemporary and innovative. This photo was taken during my first visit to the UAE in March 2016 and I was truly inspired by the beauty of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. My aim with this image was to capture the spirituality and grandeur of this mosque as well as its timelessness and tranquillity through the use of subtle light provided by the setting sun.
