Water Life
Marsa Shagra, Egypt
Olympus EM1ii, with 60mm Macro and CMC1 in a Nauticam housing. 2x Inon z240 strobes used for lighting.
A small Ghostgoby, these small fish are only a few centimetres in length and can be found darting around coral heads in the Red Sea. Multiple dives were required to capture this image, the species are common but very skittish. To enable such an image with a shallow depth of field I made multiple dives in the same location, the Nauticam CMC1 enabled a close up image of the goby and the pastel colours reflect the colour of the reef and clear blue waters above. F/11, 1/125, ISO 200.
