Description

These 3 images are part of a project celebrating the dedication and commitment of this young woman; Elannah. She is only 14 in these images, but has been working tirelessly since the age of 11 to excel in swimming. She trains 6 days a week, up at 4am to be in the pool at 5am before a full day at school, or it’s a brief break after school, before heading back out for more training. I love this image because I feel it really captures her power and dynamism. Whilst Elannah was familiarising herself with the tank I tried different settings for the light. All pictures were taken on my Nikon D5 with a 24-70 lens, set to 400 ISO at 1/10, f 2.8.
