Thamesmead, London
Nikon D750, 24 - 70mm lens
On a cold February day, The Zipheads were wandering in Thamesmead, exploring what once was the playground of Stanley Kubrick... The modern Brutalist tower blocks by a tranquil lake were the filmset for Clockwork Orange. In a typical London fashion, most of it has been taken down to rebuild newer, more expensive tower blocks. But the community has stayed strong, and the grey concrete slabs are decorated with street art that is out-of-this-world. This photograph proudly shows the band's new line-up, getting inspiration from my biggest influence and showcasing unknown parts of London.
