Canon EOS R5, Canon RF to EF Converter, Canon MP-65mm f2.8 1-5x Macro Photo Lens with Canon EF 2x III Extender; Two Nissin i40 flashes
Warm days and cold nights lead to a dewy morning and a prime time to search for dew-drenched insects. Not to mention when the temperature is low, insects are more patient subjects to photograph. On one of my many walks in Dunsford Woodland, I came across a Leafhopper draped in crystal like orbs of dew, showing an intriguing contrast between the dewdrops and the spikes on the Leafhopper's legs and abdomen. The equipment I used was a Canon EOS R5, Canon RF to EF Converter, Canon MP-65mm f2.8 1-5x Macro Photo Lens with Canon EF 2x III Extender; Two Nissin i40 flashes. With camera settings of 1/60 sec at f11, ISO 800 and 65mm. The final image is a compilation of focus-stacked pictures.
