The Chobe river is a major watering hole during the dry season and herds of elephants can be seen during this period. During that time they cross the river and it was once such instance when I was in the boat that I could see this elephant crossing. It used its trunk as a snorkel, keeping it above the water and when it lifted its head I was able to capture this shot.
