Recreating the Western painting “The Death of Marat” by Jacques Louis David. A modern twist of procrastination. A projection of today's youth who can't get on with things until the very last minute of an assignment. Detailed art direction, including procrastination metaphors such as energy drinks, coffee, piles of books and sticky notes. The first letter on the stack books can be read as 'Marat' from the top to the bottom. The knife with blood in the original painting is converted to a bread knife with strawberry jam.
