Description

Isolation. Product shot of a Bio Chemical Isolator manufactured by Extract Technology in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. Showcasing the best of British Manufacturing. Commercial photography Commision for company brochure. & website. Always challenging photographing both glass and stainless steel so I was very happy with the control of reflections in this shot enabling the viewer to see the internal compartement of this machine. An f20 aperture was required to maintain focus throughout whilst 1/30sec shutter speed helped bring out the internal lighting from above. Additional lighting then being provided right of camera by two Profoto B1X shooting through diffusing screen which not only illuminated the internal compaterments further but also ensured great illumination through the test tubes. In this case filled with Lucazade which I purchased from the company vending machine. Talk about thinking on your feet!
