Description

As small batch producers and with cucumber as the perfect partner to their gin, I created this image for Hendricks, the well known Scottish gin distillery. While I had little problem with getting my cucumber to float for the mock up image, when it came to doing it for real, it was a complete nightmare balancing the figures on an uncooperative cucumber slice! I was also working against the clock as the ice melted. I ended up fishing the uncooperative slice out with my fingers on innumerable occasions. (Licking my fingers clean was a joy, however!) Taken at 1/13sec, f/32, ISO 640 and +1 step Exposure Bias
