This photo always seems to get people talking as it isn't immediately obvious what it is. I often hear seagull squawks from the roof of the old building that I work at. On this particular sunny day I was making a cup of tea and looked up to the frosted skylight in the roof of the building, and saw the legs and feet of a seagull which were elongated by a shadow cast from the sun. The seagull was resting there briefly before flying away again. I ran to get my camera and was lucky enough to be able to capture the image before it flew off again.
