Description

In my local park (where I like to make most of my images), Grey herons can be quite bold. They're quite familiar with human activity and typically let you pass them without too much fuss. This particular morning I chose to take advantage of this individual enjoying the warm sunrise. I kept quite behind them and captured this image. I love the cloak-like feathers that drape from the bird's shoulders and wanted to focus the attention on this.
