Description

Fatherhood is a bond that often is not expressed in the same way as the one between a mother and her child. An equally strong bond though in which messages are not uniquely verbal but often conveyed through looks and behaviours. Being a father today has increasingly taken on the role of he who provides children with a sense of security, both physical and emotional, no longer through the authoritative father figure but through sensitivity, closeness, and tenderness. I pre-focused on the scene and when I saw the boy with his father entering the frame I took the shot. The result was quite surprising as I would not expect to capture such calm and tender moment on a chairoplane.
