Zwischen is a German preposition which can denote movement from one thing or state to another . Here, Zwischen refers to the journey towards motherhood & that special point in time of suspense and anticipation as everything is about to change. This forms part of a greater ongoing project exploring modern day parenthood that confounds expectation and bucks the trend of historical narrative.
