This to me is the ordinary made extraordinary. This is an image of an bland roundabout that I use daily without a seconds thought. However, the thick fog rolling in, I was presented with this eerie quiet scene of an ordinary roundabout that I pass everyday without notice. It had been transformer into a scene I can look into and a long while. I love it. The three signposts on the roundabout presented three compositions. I settled on this one with the streetlights to the side and waited for an obliging car to pass. I wanted the rear light to offset the white lights.
