Description

Ruling the waves, open water swimmer, Susie Davies-Lowe, of the jolly ‘Rother Bobber’ ladies, kick start the Queen's Jubilee celebrations in style. Draped in the colours of the Union Jack, Susie poses for a portrait before entering the water at Langland Bay, Swansea. I was keen to photograph a natural portrait of Susie that truly captured the pure joy and happiness that she embodies. Using only one flash, I also made use of the natural light from the sun to act as a backlight to create a more dynamic image. Camera Settings: ISO 160 f/20 1/250s
