Drone
Scotland
DJI Mavic 2 Pro
My friend and I decided to take a last minute NC500 roadtrip around Scotland in autumn 2021. The colours in the south of the UK weren’t hugely impressive yet so we were caught by surprise arriving in Scotland to a magnificent plethora of the brightest natural colours I’d ever seen. We bumped into a local photographer who advised us to head to a spot nearby. We headed off and came across this bridge along the way and had to stop for a moment to take it all in. The drone went up revealing this breathtaking backdrop surrounding us with trees, a river flowing beneath us and mountains in the distance. I was stunned to say the least. This photo is a special one as it not only shows spontaneity at its finest, it was the first image I’d edited from my drone and the catalyst to my new found love for aerial photography.
