Description

This shoot took place on the stunning North Cornwall coast. In freezing and blustery conditions, these brave women stripped off and bounded into the water (while I shivered in my wetsuit!). The series explores how humans are strongest when coming together in the face of adversity, it is the kindness and empathy of community that is the true healer in hard times. Loneliness, anxiety and uncertainty is so widespread in a world that faces so many challenges. Its the simple acts of kindness and friendship was enough to get people though very hard times. It show the resilience of (wo)man kind and a crucial link between nature and wellbeing - even survival. It brings to light the importance of freedom.
