This image was taken of my mother visiting her husband in a care home during the time when covid was feared. He had been taken into the care home during this time. He suffered from alzheimer's and visiting could only be done through a glass window. He thought that people were playing a nasty joke on him as he couldn't understand why he was in the room or why he had to look through a window to see my mother. He didn't even believe it was really my mother as it seemed so far fetched to him. Here my mother is trying to connect with him as he tells the care workers to take him back to his room and not to play these jokes any more. This long period of separation caused his condition to get worse very quickly. It was just so confusing for him. The Covid tests to him were a form of torture and he was convinced that he would eventually be killed.
