Phase One XF Camera Body with IQ 150 Digital back and Profoto lighting

Description

The brief for this image was to shoot the product in a natural environment to reflect the colours of a new range of stand mixers inspired by nature. One of the ideas on the mood board was an image of a jungle floor and this was chosen as the inspiration for the final image. The photographer and stylists then looked at different ways of how to shoot the image ,including studio and location options but it was decided to recreate the jungle in the studio for lighting control and the budget wouldn't stretch to a location shoot in Costa Rica! The team then sourced all the plants, props and backgrounds, building the set in the studio over the next 2 days. The shoot took another day using Phase One XF Camera Body with IQ 150 Digital back and Profoto lighting. Camera settings were 1/1250 @ f7.1 and was lit with x4 Profoto D1000 heads, some spotlights in the background and soft diffused lighting for the chrome bowl in the foreground. A final touch of atmosphere spray in the background completes the hot and steamy feel, completing a great collaboration between the whole photographic team and the very happy client.
