Wedding
Glencoe, Scotland
Nikon D750 and Nikon 24-70mm lens
Annie and Steven were due to get married on 31st October 2020 but had to postpone their big wedding plans due to COVID-19. Rather than wait a whole year to get married, they decided to elope to Scotland and get married by Loch Levan in Glencoe, on what would have been their original wedding date. On the morning of their wedding Glencoe was hit by Storm Aiden, which brought 50mph winds and torrential rain. That didn't stop the two of them getting married outdoors by the loch. As we headed into the mountains, the weather became even more extreme. We got out of the car and literally managed about 3-4 minutes of photographs in the storm, before we were all absolutely soaked. This was without a doubt the most extreme weather conditions I've ever shot in but totally worth it for the photos.
