Pangolins are on the brink of extinction being the most trafficked mammal in the world. They are one of the rarest animals to see on a safari so to have such a close up and personal view of this adult in the Central Kalahari Desert was an incredibly special experience; locking eyes with this magnificent yet vulnerable creature. Taken at F9 1/80s.
