Description

Two models stand in front of an Armoured Personnel Carrier at Shield Africa Arms Fair 2017, the International Security and Defence Exhibition that took place in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire from the 24 to 26 January 2017. I had to go to this Arms Fair with my reporter colleague as we needed to meet a government minister to get permission to go out on Police raids with a specialist unit who were targeting Internet crime gangs in the west African country's capital which we were doing a story on. During the long hours of waiting I just wandered around the Arms show trying to make a decent frame. I liked this image as the models looked like they should have been at a motor show in front of a spots car rather than an armoured car.
