Description

A juvenile kestrel hovers over a summer meadow looking for unsuspecting rodents to prey on. I put my camera on its back looking straight up into the sky and setup an infra red beam across the tops of the grasses which if broken would fire the camera. I used fill in flash on the bird to keep the detail.
