Whilst out looking for the elusive Bee Orchid (for me anyway) in the early evening on Braunton Burrows i walked through a small wooded area and noticed this little Tree Hopper - Centronus cornutus on a leaf. Never one to miss an opportunity to get a capture of this very alien looking invertebrate i setup and took a couple dozen images to then stack together to produce the final image. I have only ever seen this species a couple times before and this the first time I've managed to get a nice portrait as they normal as its name suggests ..... hop off.
