These intricate snow covered branches can melt away as quickly as they are formed. This tree was high up on Exmoor and to obtain the image I needed to be there whilst it was still snowing. The snow muffled all sound in keeping with the remoteness and solitude of this tree. The snow converts the tree into a ghostly image of itself which has a beauty that I was keen to capture.
