Description

This image is part of a series I shot earlier this year called Midnight Garden. I shot low and close, making the tulips look larger than life and painted the image with light to create the illusion of movement. This series was heavily influenced by the use of light by the Dutch Master Painters of the 17th century. I was attempting to create the same effect using modern techniques in a digital world.
